The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Ogun State Chapter, has successfully concluded its state election with a new executive team emerging to steer the affairs of the association.
The election, held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, witnessed a smooth and unified process as all candidates were returned unopposed, each polling 28 votes from 28 accredited delegates out of 34.
At the end of the exercise, Coach Agbagu Victor was elected as Chairman, leading a full executive lineup that reflects strong releagionship among coaches across the state.

The election process was witnessed by key stakeholders in Nigerian football, including the Chairman of the Ogun State FA, Ganiyu Majekodunmi, alongside NFCA Vice President Dr. Salami Isiaka, Southwest Coordinator Akinwummi Ishogun, Ogun State FA Secretary Pastor John Adeleke and the South West Secretary of NFCA Coach Ifeoluwa.
In a show of national support, the NFCA National President Coach Ladan Bosso, also addressed delegates and contestants via a live phone call before the commencement of voting, encouraging unity and professionalism among coaches in the state.
The election was conducted under the supervision of the Electoral Committee chaired by Coach Jinad Surajudeen, with proceedings described as peaceful, transparent, and well-organized.
The full participation of accredited delegates and the unanimous voting pattern highlighted the level of agreement and shared vision among members of the association.
With the emergence of the new executives, attention now turns to the development of coaching standards, welfare, and grassroots football growth in Ogun State.
The Agbagu-led administration is expected to build on existing structures while fostering unity among coaches and strengthening the impact of the association within the football ecosystem.
