From Dreams to Reality: 8 Students Land Life-Changing Scholarships at SOCA

For eight young boys and girls, a lifelong dream just turned into reality as the Segun Odegbami International College and Sports Academy (SOCA) announced its latest batch of scholarship recipients.

The opportunity, made possible through the support of the Esther Mojirola–Odofin Foundation, will cover each student’s tuition, feeding, boarding, and other sundry expenses for a full academic session. With this, financial constraints will no longer stand in the way of their education and sporting ambitions.

What makes this intake even more special is the balance and inclusiveness: four boys and four girls were carefully chosen, reflecting the academy’s ongoing commitment to equal opportunities for all genders.

SOCA has built its reputation on nurturing students who excel not only in academics but also in sports. This latest scholarship program strengthens that vision by ensuring that talent is not wasted due to financial limitations.

Speaking about the development, representatives of the academy expressed deep appreciation to the Esther Mojirola–Odofin Foundation, noting that partnerships like this ensure that gifted young people can thrive.

“This scholarship initiative shows what happens when opportunities meet potential, We believe these students will go on to make a lasting impact, both on the field and in the classroom.”

Since its inception, Segun Odegbami International College and Sports Academy has remained a unique institution where education and athletics work hand in hand. Students are groomed to be leaders, disciplined athletes, and academically sound individuals.

The eight new scholarship beneficiaries now join a growing network of alumni and current students who have benefited from similar support and gone on to distinguish themselves in various walks of life.

With world-class facilities, mentorship, and a clear mission, the academy continues to create an environment where young people can chase their dreams with confidence.

The Esther Mojirola–Odofin Foundation’s intervention is more than just financial assistance, it is a lifeline of hope, a launchpad for dreams, and a reminder that with the right support, talent can break barriers and shine anywhere.

As these eight students settle into their new journey, the academy looks forward to witnessing their growth, achievements, and the ripple effect of this opportunity on their communities and beyond.

For now their story is just beginning. But one thing is certain: their dreams have found a home at SOCA.
